Matthew Holder is devoted to the study & acquisition of early European sculpture & works of art.
His stock has a strong focus on works of the gothic and renaissance periods, as well as objects of the wunderkammer.
He is extremely passionate about his business and regularly travels the world in search of these rare works of art.

All of the objects in Matthew Holder's inventory can be viewed at his London gallery every Saturday 8am - 5pm or during the week by appointment.
The gallery is small, so not everything will be there, if you would like to view a specific object then please get in touch prior to your arrival to avoid disappointment.

Worldwide shipping is included in all prices.
Matthew Holder does not accept any responsibility for import duty, this is to be paid by the buyer.
Shipping will be made within 3 days of payment using a tracked & signed for service of Matthew Holder's choosing unless agreed otherwise.
If a price is not displayed on the Webshop it can be due to a number reasons, these can include & are not limited to:
Heavy or bulky objects as these will incur greater shipping costs than small objects.
Objects of great importance whereby the price might be by application.

Some of the objects in Matthew Holder's inventory contain materials from endangered species which are governed by CITES regulations & will require a license to export outside of the European Union. If a certificate of export is required then this will be the responsibility of & paid for by the buyer. Shipment will only be made once a license has been obtained. If an export license cannot be obtained or the buyer does not agree to apply for a license then the transaction will be cancelled.
Matthew Holder reserves the right to cancel any sale that does not conform to CITES regulations.
